Well we are expecting our 3rd child in the next couple of weeks and we can't wait. I am so ready to have this baby! It hasn't been easy having a summer pregnancy, these past few weeks have been terribly hot and getting outside can be quite a trial. Poor Lexi and Preston, they are cooped up in this apartment most of the day. I try to take them out swimming but it's almost too hot to swim, because the water is more like taking a bath than cooling off. We usually go in the evenings around 6 when the pool is shaded and i don't have to put sunscreen on. The kids love the pool they swim all over the pool with the arm wings on. Lexi tried to go without one day and nearly drowned, had she not been right next to me she probably would have. Preston is my little swimmer he would stay in the pool all day if I let him, you have to drag him out when it's time to go. We all love the pool!
Well back to the new baby. We are going in this afternoon to have an ultrasound to see how big she is, and see if maybe inducing early might be an option. My last delivery was via C-section and i don't want another one. I believe that it is healthier for the woman and the baby to have a vaginal delivery. People think that I am crazy for wanting a vbac but i don't care. Really if you think about it you have more risks to having a c-section and a longer recovery time than to have a vbac. The kids are excited for the ultrasound because they get to see their baby sister again.

It's been a long time.
Wow, has the time flown by! I haven't written on this blog in over a year. You see i am not very good at keeping a journal, so for me to put time in this is just something more to do in my crazy schedule.
I want to be better at blogging and journal writing, because i feel it's a great way for my kids to learn more about me and how I felt during good times and bad.

Toys, Toys, Toys, and Kids
I have come to the conclusion that my kids have way too many toys! Everything in their room is a toy and it is spilling into the living area and its driving me crazy! What can I do? How can i get rid of toys without my kids knowing that the old favorite is gone? I have tried using baskets to organize but they just spill over and end up on the floor, I think what I need is a good spring cleaning so hurry up spring. Well I will just change the subject for a little while to tell you about the kids cuteness, Lexi believe it or not has finally named one of her babies with the help of daddy. Her new baby she got for Christmas is known as Peggy, its so funny how she came up with it. Caleb took Lexi and Peggy out one day, Caleb told Lexi she should name her baby and she said okay, so Caleb started to rattle off names and she never said a word to any of them until he couldn't think of anything else but Peggy. I think she chose Peggy because it's a fun word to say. Have you ever thought about all the fun words to say? For example; popcorn, I love to say popcorn its just makes you happy, plus who wouldn't turn down popcorn. Preston does not turn down popcorn he loves it if he could eat the whole bowl himself he would and he's only one! Speaking of Preston he had his one year check up he is in the 95Th percentile (percentile another fun word to say)for weight and height and is a very healthy boy. I have to laugh though because the doctor gave us this flier thing for what to expect for your 1yr old and Preston is more like a 2yr old then a 1yr old, the kid is seriously climbing the walls we can't keep him off the furniture we are lucky he hasn't climbed out of his crib yet. Back to Lexi some she is just too dang cute she has finally figured out how to pedal her strawberry shortcake bike we are so excited for her, you should have seen the look on her face when she realized she was doing it all by herself. Oh I wish it would warm up so I could take her outside to ride and take pictures of her riding.

Thank You
I have a very dear friend, who is the strongest and most lovely person in the world. She is suffering from a very extreme trial in her life right now, she has cancer. I hate that she and her family have to go through this, but I know that they are strong. First I want to apologize to her for not being with her now and for not working hard enough to keep our friendship stronger. I love her very much she has always shared her strength and testimony with me, and I feel I took advantage of it when we were younger . Second, I want to thank her for forgiving me when i was a stupid teen and made some unthoughtful mistakes. Third tell her of how she gives me the courage to keep on chugging when the hill gets too steep. Finally, I want to give her my faith and strength to help her through her battles. Thank you Becky for being inspiration in my life when I am week, for teaching me about true friendship. I will always remember the very first time we met, you were swinging on the swings at girls camp and I had the strongest feeling to go and visit with you, because you are a special sister who was given a very special promise in the preexistence, that you would touch the hearts of everyone you meet for ever and for always! I love you and all my prayers are with you!

Christmas Miracles
It seems, that everyone rushes to get things done this Holiday season and every one forgets its true meaning. I must admit I too have trouble sometimes remembering what this season is all about, My Children often remind me of the miracles of Christmas. It was during this season in 2005 that we found out that Lexi was a girl and Preston our little christmas baby in 2007. I pray that everyone stops and takes time too remember that this is the time of year when we celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, and to give comfort and joy to those who need help.

The holidays are fast approaching so I decided to take Lexi to Toys R Us to see what she would like for Christmas. Let me tell you big mistake taking a 2yr old to look at toys, she wanted everything. Lexi wants..... a baby that has a change of clothes and hair, the tinkerbell cafe, a tea set, a shopping cart that can seat her baby with hair, a huge doll house, tinkerbell dressup, and the most important a tinkerbell T.V. which she politly said in her high pitched voice, MOMMY I WANT THIS! Poor Preston just sat in the cart trying to go to sleep, while Lexi was admiring all the cool girlie toys. After are little adventure at Toys R Us we went to lunch at chick-a-fila which Lexi calls Chicapalay because thats the only way she can pronounce it (but its so cute!) I felt bad because she really wanted to go inside and play but couldn't because Preston fell asleep in the car and you don't want to disturb him when he's sleeping or he is super cranky! All in all it was a pretty fun day and its nice to know Lexi has moved on to other likes then Dora (Dora was getting really old.).
